A residential building that creates a dramatic hinge structure at a critical juncture of two of the most avenues in Long Island City. Stainless steel panels, glass and perforated steel skin of the building peels away in layers to expose the structural frames, balconies, and canopies at the corners of the building. The language of the building and the loft residence designs responds to the industrial history of Long Island City.
